Selective organic conducting film (SOC) refers to a layer of conducting polymeric film selectively deposited on the resin and glass fiber of hole wall of circuit board and not deposited on copper surface; the film substitutes conventional chemical copper, and serves for breakover between circuit board layers; a layer of complete copper surface will be deposited quickly on SOC film during plating to enhance inter-layer interconnection. SOC applies to high muliti-layer, FPC and HDI boards.
